Once upon a time, something with shiny scales and a good portion of venom, slithered through the winding stairs of a castle. Her name was Isla the Indian cobra, and Isla wanted a husband. She wanted a saw scaled viper.

In another part of the world, a saw scaled viper was looking for a wife. He wanted an Indian cobra. The saw scaled viper's name was Samson, and both Isla and Samson believed each other was real.

Samson thought he should go to India because he believed that some Indian cobras were there. So he set off on a gigantic journey through disgusting dirty swamps, tall forests with lots of scary beasts, dry windy deserts, and across huge seas. He went so far away that he got to the other side of the world. Finally, after a year of tiring adventures, he arrived in India.

Isla, who lived not far from where Samson had arrived, was feeling a bit down because she wanted a husband. She was sitting at her desk in her castle bedroom, wondering how she could ever find the right snake for her. So she decided to go outside and begin her quest.

Samson was out searching, and he found a delicious juicy rat. He gobbled it up, then he felt a bit better. Samson was slithering through the city, past gigantic towers of glass, beside the long dirty river. He decided to go down through a grate to get out of the hot burning sun. At last, he was out of the sun! But, when he turned around a corner, there was a giant swarm of dirty rats, with dark red eyes and sharp pointy teeth. They chased him around the corner, back to the grate, but it was too high for him to reach, even with his long tail. He searched round fast, because the rats were coming round behind him. Then, he saw something like a door and he tried to open it with his tail, and it opened! So he went through it and it felt like he was going up. He got to the top, and opened something black, and then he saw a beautiful tower, like the ones he had seen before. He realised that he was back in the city.

Isla decided to travel to the city. She looked and looked and looked. All she found was an old dead rat, so she gobbled it up. It was one of her favourite types, the red eyed one. But no saw scaled viper. She was feeling a bit mad that she couldn't find her husband. So she stopped looking and sat down.

Samson looked where Isla was sitting. Samson asked if she was an Indian cobra and she said she was! Then Isla asked if Samson was a saw scaled viper, and he was, so they told each other their names and set off together.

April the 9th, they had a wedding and they lived happily ever after!
